Automatic backup starts after reloading backup
I'm currently using Acronis True Image build 25700 (2020) When I restore a backup, after the restoration is completed / Windows boots up, Acronis starts to automatically make a new backup in the background without me opening the application. No schedules are selected. It does this on 3 different computers. This didn't happen before the 2004 upgrade to Windows. Is this a bug? I'm only just recently noticed it. I've gone as far to do a fresh install of Windows 10 2004 and load Acronis, same affect. I'm stuck going to delete the backup from the application as its unwanted everytime.
System specs:
OS: Windows 10 Build 2004
Motherboard: Asus TUF Z370-Pro Gaming (Latest bios)
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K
HDD: NVMe Samsung SSD 970

Thanks for the reply, yes you were right but one issue I noticed is by default the option is on and grayed out even though I turn off to have a "Do not schedule" I have to select another option and then return to my do not schedule for it to stop performing the task.

I've seen this happen the last 2 times I've done a recovery. My assumption (based on no knowledge) is that there was a backup in process (obviously!) when the backup was taken and there can be no indication that the backup completed in the restored copy of the ATI database. So ATI restarts the backup once the recovery is complete. This pretty much a useless backup since it should be pretty much identical to the one you recovered from, but the database will reflect a completed backup when the backup is done.
