Backup Drive Filling Up

Thread needs solution

While I was able to clean up some recent backup sets, the cleanup option in the GUI does not show a number of older sets. I believe they may have been backed up prior to a reinstall due to a cloud backup issue.

However, I can also not delete those files manually in Explorer (says I have to be an admin, though I am).

Suggestions?

Donna, you need to temporarily turn off Acronis Active Protection to be able to delete unwanted backup .tib or .tibx files.

The alternative option would be to use the 'Add existing backup' option (hidden behind the caret 'v' to the right of the normal + Add backup option) and select one of the unwanted files and add it back into the main GUI and allow the Clean up versions tool to be used to remove the files.
