Backup failed. Acronis claims it cannot access destination folder.

Thread needs solution

I have 2 scheduled back-ups both backing up to the same Synology NAS device on my home network.

Backup 1:  Backs up files once a day as an Incremental backup & a full back-up after 6 Incremental back-ups.

Backup 1 Status:  Good & working well

Backup 2:  Backs up the whole system once a week as an incremental back up.  After 5 incremental back-ups it does a full system back-up.

Backup 2 Status:  It had been working well until a week ago.  My NAS device had been shut down since I was expecting power failure due to a snowstorm.  After re-starting the NAS device, Backup 1 is still working while Backup 2 has stopped working & I receive the following error msg:

The backup failed.  Ensure that \\<NAS Device Name>\<Folder Name>\<Sub-Folder Name>\ is accessible.  Test connection settings.   Check for a solution.

When I "Test connection settings" the connection results are good (i.e. Connected).  I can view the destination folder on the NAS.  However, I keep on getting this error message.

Any ideas how to fix this?   (One option might be to start fresh with a completely new backup & back up the System to a new Sub-Folder.  I know this will work but I will lose previous versions of the backup.)
