backup is not configured: 0x01050018

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I got the following error code because the backup plan started once, when the network drive was missing:

The backup is not configured. Please select the backup source.
More information about this error and solutions may be available online in the Acronis Knowledge Base.
To access the online resource manually, enter the event code at: https://kb.acronis.com/errorcode/
Event code: 0x01050018

So now I don't know what file I have to select, that oit recognize it again, the first fullback or the last created?

What Acronis product / version are you using here?  I ask because with True Image / Cyber Protect Home Office, we tend to refer to backup tasks rather than backup plans, so wondering if you are using one of the Acronis Business products?

It also sounds as if your backup source was from a network drive, which would suggest that you may need to reselect that backup source for your backup plan.

In the Backup column of the GUI look to the bottom and find Add backup.  Now look to the right of that and locate the carat symbol and click it.  Now click on Add existing backup and navigate to the source of the backup and click to select it then click Add.

This should add the backup source back into the GUI and allow you to reconfigure that backup task.  Once you have that completed you can then Remove the old task from the list by selecting the Delete option from the drop down menu task menu.

I already tried this, but for both existing backups the *.tib files are recognized as folders and not as files anymore!

What file do I have to select, so that the Add button is active again?

Backing up to FTP is a different animal than other locations in that backups are broken up into 2GB files. I've never tried to add a backup from an FTP location.

Is it not possible to open the file folder you show selected in your image?

It seems acronis alternative file dialog is not working as expected, because I cannot select *.tib. Instead it opens it as a folder!

So is there a way to set/modify the destination path without the faulty graphic file selector?

Just select your latest backup file for the Add existing backup, then follow the prompts.
