Backup SD card to Win 10 PC

Thread solved

I  have an SD card sitting in a card reader connected to my Win 10 PC via USB3.0

Can my ATI2020 be used to back this up to a folder on my Documents folder in Windows?

I  opened Backup / My disks, but could not see the card reader

kind regards to all,

Jill

Jill, SD cards can be an issue depending on what they are used for.

Is the SD card visible in Explorer in Win 10, if so, then Acronis should also be able to see it provided it is using a supported file system such as FAT32, exFAT or NTFS?

You could also try using Files & Folders and see if that see the SD card contents?

SD cards used in mini-PC's such as Raspberry PI have a mixed format and are not handled well by Acronis because of this.

Thanks Steve. Can see the card in Windows 10 Explorer, but not in Acronis. the card is formatted with Fat32

Tried Acronis again, and the card appeared this time as a Source disk

thanks Steve for your generous support

My kind regards,

Jill
