Bootable Media does not support any mouse

Thread needs solution

The latest bootable media does not support wireless mouse connected to USB or wired mouse connected to PS2.

This issue seems to observed long time ago in previous versions, but should be corrected in later versions. Now the error seems to be here again in the latest version.

The program is impossible to use.

My system is Windows 10.

Søren, welcome to these public User Forums.

Wireless support in the Acronis rescue media can be somewhat hit and miss as this depends on the type of rescue media being created and the adapters involved.

If you have created the Simple version of the rescue media which uses the files from your Windows 10 Recovery Environment, then this should pick up the device drivers for your wireless mouse or wired mouse, providing you are running the builder on the machine with these devices connected.

If the simple media doesn't work for you, then try creating the Advanced Linux version of the media as this sometimes has better support in this area than the Windows PE versions do!

Personally, I have not see any mouse issues with any of my computers running a mix of both types of rescue media.  I do not use wireless mice but have a mix of PS/2 and USB mice that work fine.
