Cannot find 33

Thread needs solution

I did some tickets for this. I updated to 2020 a wile ago and then my Windows 10 started to go real slow I went to reboot and can't boot any more. I had it on a 6TB drive. The only 6TB drive I have and looks like True Image put all the backups on there. I thought it would use the same backup drive I set up for the old one a USB drive.

So bought another 6TB drive and wile I waited for it to come in the mail I had another small drive installed Windows 10 on it new. Then installed TIB 2020 on it.

When I got to pick it it will say how it can't find some files and just say the number of it. But I have V2 files with the same numbers. I am not sure what ones to hand pick for it. It don't auto find them!

It says on please wait... for about 2 or more hours! Then has to reboot and it says another Cannot find. I hand pick it for it. This time I moved all the old backups by the data on them in another folder and it said cannot find 1 then and I picked it.

As I typed the 2nd ticket and this it's still doing the clock at lest it's moving the hand if not I could think it locked up.

Any one else trying to restore a backup with 2020 one? Seems like I just can't do it.

Raymond, my first question here is: how are you attempting this recovery?  From the description above mentioning doing a reboot it sounds as if you are starting this from within Windows?

Next question: what type of files are you attempting to recover?  If the file names include such as v2 in the name then are these .tib files that were created originally on an earlier version of ATI before 2020?

Without knowing what files are involved or how these are named, it is impossible to fully understand the situation here.

When recovering a disk that has the Windows OS, it is always best / recommended to do this by using the Acronis Rescue Media to boot the computer in the same BIOS boot mode as used by the OS to boot.  This then avoids any need for ATI to restart the system to continue the recovery action when launched in the Windows environment.
