Create Portable Instance of Windows on USB drive from TIB file

Thread needs solution

I have a TIB file that is a full Windows backup from a machine configured as required for this purpose.  I need to be able to run windows from a USB drive on another machine.  I have created a TIB file for the Windows backup and need to get that image onto the USB in a bootable format.  I have not been able to figure out how to do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mark, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry but there is no method of using an Acronis backup .tib file image to create a bootable copy of the imaged Windows OS that will work from a USB drive.

Microsoft deliberately prevent Windows from being booted from USB media as part of their battle against piracy unless you use their premium Windows To Go tool method or a third-party equivalent which creates a bootable USB stick or drive from with a Windows application without any involvement of Acronis.

The Acronis .tib file can be used to recover a disk drive that is installed within the PC and that is running Windows.
