Creating an image

Thread needs solution

I have Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office. I want to create an image of my hard drive so i can use it on a duplicator machine (i put the new SSD in and run the image to the SSD) which is the best way to do this?

Also i just got an error saying something about my too many activations (i have a perpetual license)

thanks!

Richard, welcome to these public User Forums.

ACPHO is a subscription only product from Acronis for which there are no perpetual licenses as far as I am aware.

See KB 68375: Licensing change FAQ: Acronis products switch to subscription-only licenses - where this change was announced!

If your duplicator machine takes physical SSD's or HDD's then you would need to either make a Clone of the source SSD to another drive, or else make a backup image to restore to another drive.

I have my original instalation from 2019 or 20 that I can revert back to if necessary or if the upgrades get too expensive. this version had the perpetual license. I will try to clone the hard drive. thanks for your advice!

To create an image of your hard drive using Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office, you can use the backup and recovery option to create a full disk image. As for the activation error, you may need to contact Acronis customer support to resolve the issue with your perpetual license.

Hello Richard.

Could you please tell me what's the status of the issue? Did you managed to sort it out?
