Thread needs solution

After completing Acronis 2020 full drive backup, I get the following message:

"The specified file does not exist", although the backup file is on my external drive.

What is the context for when you are shown the error message?

If it is shown when you open the Recovery tab for the backup task, then this is a known issue that arises randomly!  You can resolve it by using one or both of the following methods.

  • Use the Add existing backup option (hidden behind the caret 'v' to the right of the normal + Add backup option) and select the backup file from your external drive.
     
  • Validate the backup task.
