Failed to connect to the Acronis Server (Acronis True Image OEM)
I downloaded the software, but when I am logging the app and getting this error message: "Failed to connect to the Acronis server. Check your internet connection or try again later. But the internet is working fine." What should I do?

@Touch Tone, please confirm that you are also using an OEM version.
What OEM version are using: WD or Crucial or some other. What version/build number?
There is a possibility that there has been a configuration change to the Acronis server that is causing the problem. Other possibilities include use of VPN or custom proxy server (I do not use either so cannot help).
Is there anything in 57042: Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office, Acronis True Image: Sign In at program start fails that suggests a solution. In rare instances, the long in the tooth passwords can cause this sort of thing as the fail to meet the current minimum standards - but I have never seen it happen in under normal conditions.

Hi Ian,
I am having the same issue as the OP. So far I have tried adding "allow rules" in Windows Firewall, checking the hosts file and verifying that the required services are all running.
Logging in via the website also works fine. I am trying to activate True Image OEM as provided by Kingston with my M.2 drive. The version is listed as 19.0.5128.
What else should I look into? Thanks.

Filip, I have never attempted to activate an OEM version, so I really have no idea how to solve your problem. The OEM build is very old, goes back to 2016 or earlier, so it may have difficulties with newer hardware such a M.2 drives.
Have you tried contacting Kingston technical support?

Hi Ian,
Thanks for your reply.
In the end, I could get it to work by adding my OEM key to my profile on the website, thus activating/verifying it. After that you get (from the website and also via email) a longer variant of the key which needs to entered into the software itself. That is where I realised that one can just close the (failed) login window and behind it the one where it prompts you to enter the license key becomes visible.
A bit of a workaround I guess, but since I technically needed it to only work that one time to clone my drive I can live with it (for now).
