File backups for Firefox bookmarks

Thread solved

Using the TI File backup approach and full backups, will selecting the file for the most recent bookmark backup within Acronis be sufficient to restore the bookmarks?

The file path is: Username>Appdata>Roaming>Mozilla>Firefox>Profiles>xxxx.default-release-numbers>bookmarkbackups>bookmarks-2202-04-09_xxxxx.jsonlz4.

I do not want to backup the rest of the Firefox profile. Will the .jsonlz4 extension restore? Testing this sounds kind of messy, so I am hoping other Firefox and TI users know already.

Tommy, I am a long time Firefox user but if I look in the file path from your post above, the bookmarkbackups folder on my system is 'Empty' / zero contents.

All the User > Appdata contents get backed up via my regular Disk backups, so including Firefox but I don't rely on that as such as I created a Firefox Account which automatically syncs all my bookmarks and extensions etc.  All I need to do is sign in with the account if I ever install Firefox on a new / different computer and it all comes back apart from some minor changes I need to make, i.e. put back the Home button and remove some auto added bookmarks that reappear with new installs!

Using a Firefox Account keeps all my systems synced for my bookmarks etc, plus if I want to have a backup before doing a purge of old bookmarks, then I can open the 'Manage Bookmarks' menu option to either make a Backup or to Export a copy to HTML etc, which will allow me to recover any that I later find I still wanted to keep.  That Backup or Export can be included in a regular Acronis backup task.
