Has Automatic Replication been Fixed?

Thread needs solution

When I upgraded to ATI 2020 I tried the automatic replication option to replicate from my primary backup destination a USB external hard drive. Like many others, I found that it hung up after over 24 hours and never did complete.

I contacted support and was told that it was a known issue and was advised to not use replication until they had fixed the problem. I did what I was told and disabled (I thought) the replication feature. The other day I noticed that It was re-enabled. (I am reasonably sure I didn't do it) and replications appear to complete successfully.

Has anyone else seen this?

Harry, if you have upgraded your version of ATI 2020 from an earlier build to the current latest 22510 build, then this could have resulted in your disabled replication from being reset and re-enabled.

I haven't encountered this type of issue personally as stopped using replication shortly after trying it and finding that it was repeating itself over and over, keeping the computer connected online all day long, uploading the same full backup file to the Acronis Cloud.  For me I can see no real advantage to replicating the exact same file structure I have on my local drives to the Cloud when my upload rate is a maximum of only 10Mbps.  I would find it far more useful if I could select to replicate to my NAS without having to have a separate backup task for this.
