How do I add unallocated SSD space to my Windows partition after recovering with True Image 2020 USB tool

Thread needs solution

I had a 100gb drive that I created a recovery file/image.

I now replaced it with a 240gb drive. I am able to successfully load the image onto the 240gb drive, but I am not figuring out how to initialize/allocate the extra space into the same partition. Whenever I use True Image's USB boot tool, it only creates the new C drive partition that is the same size as the original 100gb drive instead of fully using the 240gb space.

As you can see, I have 111.78gb of unallocated space, and 12gb recovery partition (maybe from Acer as it's an Acer laptop).

I want the 111.78gb of unallocated space to be added to my Windows 98.64gb partition. Hopefully I can add the 12gb recovery partition, as well.

There must be some setting issue that I am missing as it wouldn't make sense for this software to exist if it has this limitation.

I don't want multiple partitions either, as I want it all to be on one.

Prior to recovering via True Image, I did initialize the entire 240gb drive and had one large unallocated drive thinking that would solve the issue.

welcome to these public User Forums.

Please download a copy of the free MiniTool Partition Wizard software then use this from within Windows to move the two partitions to the right of your Windows C: partition to the right end of the unallocated space on the new drive.  This will then put the unallocated space next to the Windows partition, and you can then extend the size of the Windows partition to use all that unallocated space.

Note: if your 12GB Push Button Restore partition was on the original disk drive when the computer was first received, then it may contain an older version of Windows that came installed at that time, and you could delete that partition.  I would suggest making a backup of it separately in case you ever want to put the computer back to how it came from the factory!

If you are deleteing the 12GB partition, then do that first, then just move the smaller 350MB partition to the end of the drive.
