How to upgrade from ATI 2019 Perpetual to 2020 Perputual license?
How do I upgrade from ATI 2019 Perpetual to 2020 Perpetual license? There is no Upgrade button in the Account section of my software, no mention of an Upgrade in the web management console, and when I go to buy it online I only get offered the trial and subscription options. And yet, this KB article states that the Perpetual License is still available in 2020: https://kb.acronis.com/content/63262 If there is a way to buy a perpetual license it is VERY well hidden.

Per what Steve said, tonight when I read the forum I see this message at the top:
Cyber Black Friday Special: Up to 50% Off

Steve Smith wrote:Mark, please see KB 63219: How to upgrade to Acronis True Image 2020 - but you may want to wait a few more days then see if Acronis will be offering any Black Friday discounts? See KB 46984: Current Promo - where these will be published.
When clicking the "paid upgrade" link from your suggested article I end up here: https://www.acronis.com/en-au/personal/buy-backup/
...but there is no option to buy a perpetual license. It only provides options for the Free Trial, and the Advanced and Premium Subscription .

Mark, it is odd that the Australian page does not provide the option for the perpetual license. If you just replace en-au with en-us in the URL, you get he the US page which does have it.
Here is the page for buying upgrades...

I to noticed that the Australia page did not include a perpetual licence. I will chase it up with my contacts at Acronis.
Update: I should have checked - perpetual licence is now being offered in Australia

Thanks BrunoC.
I was able to buy a perpetual license from the US page at https://www.acronis.com/en-us/personal/upgrade-backup while logged into my existing AU user account. I had to pay in US dollars via PayPal, but that doesn't bother me.
Why on earth would the AU team try to block the perpetual license option when it is offered in other regions? Makes no sense.

Also from Australia ...
I have received an email offering an upgrade to ATI 2020 at $20.99 (AUD) as a 50% Cyber Monday discount. When I clicked the link in the email it took me to the page to buy the upgrade. However, this page describes the upgrade as "Acronis True Image Advanced 1 Computer - 1 year subscription" and "Includes 250 GB Acronis Cloud Storage". It goes on to say: "This subscription will automatically renew after 12 month(s) at a price of AU$ 69.99 per year. You may cancel your subscription at any time.".
I don't want or need any "cloud storage". I just want to upgrade my ATI 2019 to ATI 2020 for local storage.
So my question is: if I purchase this upgrade with 12 months subscription and then cancel the subscription, will I still be able to use ATI 2020 indefinitely (or until I upgrade to a later version)? In other words, is what I am being offered the non-cloud licence plus a one-year "cloud" subscription, and would cancelling the subscription still leave me with base 2020 product?
Thanks for any advice.

Sadly, the answer is NO! A subscription license only works with full functionality during the period that the subscription is active, after which it can only be used for recovery of already created backup files, not to create new backups.
I would send a private message to Renata Gubaydullina | Product manager, Acronis True Image to see if she can get this issue resolved for why the Perpetual license options are not being shown to Australian users!
Alternatively, go to either the US or UK pages for Acronis and order from there!

Thanks for your advice. It is what I feared!
