I don't think Acronis backup is working

Thread needs solution

I just downloaded, established my backup regime, set it off. It ran for two hours with minimal Task Manager resources (see attached, if I can attach). Did nothing, created no backup file on the hard drive I was trying to backup to. It can't hold everything in memory, but needs to write to disk, no? After 2 hours. It's really flaky.

Please let me know if this actually works. I used to use WD Backup, which worked.

See KB 2201: Support for OEM Versions of Acronis Products which applies to all OEM versions of ATI supplied with hardware purchases such as Acronis True Image for WD.

Your screen image doesn't contain any information to answer whether your backup task is working correctly or not.

What exactly are you backing up here and what type of backup are you using?

Screen images of your backup task settings pages would help.
