Installation problems on multiple machines

Thread solved

I purchased ATI for 3 machines on subscription. All machines on same router using same AV and firewall. First machine installation ok, runs fine. I wish to make local backups to ext hds, not cloud (yet). Please bear with me on this, I'm struggling.
Installed ATI from download onto second machine, and the fun starts.
Start programme, window opens, insert activation code, copy/paste. Sign in window opens, type mail address and pw. :- "An error occured while signing in, please try later."
I CAN sign in to my account where a cloud backup is proposed, but the installed ATI will not open to allow local backups (or anything else.)
I've been struggling with this for six weeks, having to do backups with another programme, it's getting really OLD.
Any ideas please.

John, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry to read of this issue but although you have been struggling with it for a long time, we only have the information in your post above which is not really enough for us to work with.

What version of Windows OS is involved here?

What version & build of ATI are you trying to install?
Is this ATI 2020 build 21400 as per this forum & latest build?

Does the install process complete normally?

Are all 3 of your computers in the same location, connected to the same network behind your router?
Are they all configured with the same settings for your AV and Firewall?

Have you double-checked that you are using the exact same user credentials on all 3 computers and haven't made any typing errors etc?

Do you have any proxy server or VPN involved in this scenario?

here the same problem

MSI Cubi3 m2.sata 1 TB, with windows 10 Pro (latest version)

Acronis True Image Subscription 3 Computer Advanced 250 GB Cloud (Multilingual)

install runs fine

this is computer nr 3

Johannes, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry, but what exactly is the problem you are seeing here?  The previous poster didn't reply with any answers to my earlier questions above, so do not know if they resolved the issue or not?

solved,

sorry for my english writing:

problem was : as User login (administrator) ATI stopped after license key and username+Password, and says

"An error occured while signing in, please try later." .

I activated the administrator account, whith cmd, net user administrator /active:yes, and login as administrator , new install ATI ,started ATI, and the activating works fine.

Johannes, thank you for sharing the solution for your problem.  ATI always needs to be installed from an Administrator level account due to the privileges & authorities it needs to function correctly.
