Since installing TI21021 I get msg "operations are in progress" when rebooting PC

Thread needs solution

I just installed TI2021, updated to latest version.

I have setup my first complete backup to external USB drive.

However, when rebooting the PC I always get a message that operations are in progress and that the reboot starts when the operations are done.

Anybody know what that is? and is there something I need to set differently to avoid this message?

Dear Gerhard Goebel,

Thank you for reaching out.
How is your backup scheduled?
We would suggest checking these articles to make sure everything set up fine:
Upon event execution parameters – Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office
Computer shutdown – Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office

Not sure what you mean when you say "when rebooting the PC I always get a message that operations are in progress and that the reboot starts when the operations are done."

There is a difference between booting and rebooting, sometimes called starting and restarting. The former happens when the PC is off, and then started by the user, and the latter happens when the PC is shut down and has been told to restart after the shutdown - this usually happens with there is a major OS update or the installation of some drivers. What is happening in your case.
