LOGIN error on True Image NAS
Hi, so i recently installed Acronis True Image on my Synology Nas.
And it's not like you could missconfigure anything, ass there are no configurations at all. Nevertheless I am getting a Login Error when scanning the QR code: "Logins do not match" any ideas?

No, it's definetly the right QR code, and I also looked everywhere for anything concerning this specific error. But no luck.

Unfortunately I am not able to test this myself as my Synology NAS isn't on the list of supported models to be able to use the Acronis app, and I don't see this changing unless I decide to pay out for a new NAS of a supported type!
Perhaps another user in these forums might be able to comment and help you, otherwise you will need to open a Support case direct with Acronis to get them to investigate what is happening here?

I have had instances where scanning a QR code would not work and found the problem to be glare from a light source on the computer screen. The light source, the phone camera of course. Check to see if the flash is set On for the camera if it is turn it off then scan again.
Remember to turn it on again once you finish.
Hope this works for you :-)

No, I did try different phones and different screens (although for different reasons). I would also like to mention that I have a background in computer science ;)
Scanning the QR code actually works, it just seems to read a wrong login.
(Actual error message: LOGIN ERROR: Logins do not match)
Scanning the QR and backing up to my computer works fine, just not to my synology nas.

Have you attempted to contact Synology about the issue? It could be that the QR code has been updated but that was not carried through on their end.
