Many options which one should I go with

Thread needs solution

alright, I feel a little overwhelmed when deciding what backup media to use seems like there are a lot of options. Ok for my current computer for just backing up my current setup do I just need to click simple and be done with it? or should I do advanced winpe with the adk installed or any of the advanced stuff?  for dissimilar hardware if my motherboard goes on me or I just get a new computer. What's best for that? make bootable media advanced winpe with the adk adding whatever drivers I would need for the new computer or hardware. Do I need to get the MVP tool that they say has some important drivers already installed that would allow me to boot to new hardware? sorry if this is a confusing mess. I just feel like there are a ton of options when it comes to bootable media and was wanting to get the expert's opinions.

                                                              Thank you,

                                                                             Ryan

Ryan, welcome to these public User Forums.

If you are new to using ATI 2020 then I would recommend starting with just the basics of getting your backups running on schedule and understanding how to create the 'Simple' version of the rescue media and how this is used in the event of needing to do a recovery to your current PC and disk drive.

Migrating your Windows OS and applications to new / different hardware is a much more complicated activity and has lots of factors that need to be considered as well as 'gotchas'!

I would recommend reading through the first few sections of the ATI 2020 User Guide which will give you a good introduction to how to use the application.
