MVP Tool - Custom WINPE Builder and Microsoft Surface Go

Thread solved

I upgraded from True Image 2017 to 2020 because I could not see the hard drive for the Microsoft Surface Go. I created the Rescue Media Builder and selected the Windows Recovery Environment. This now allows me to see the Surface Go hard drive and back it up. I then tried to create a WinPE image using the MVP tool to take advantage of the other utilities but it does not see the hard drive. What do I need to do to take advantage of the MVP tool? I have included the log from the builder.

The MVP creator log shows you did not either add in drivers from your local system or take the option to add custom drivers.

I would recommend trying the custom drivers first - just click any key after it shows the prompt and it will automatically include the Intel RST drivers which are probably those needed by your MS Surface Go device.

I included custom drivers including the Intel RST drivers and I still cannot see the hard drive.  I tries to include the drivers from the Surface Go in the custom drivers and this did not help.  I am including the log.

So the obvious answer here is to choose the option in the MVP Custom builder to build the media using your Windows RE files instead of WinPE.
