NAS manage backup to cloud?

Thread needs solution

Presently, I back up to a MyCloud NAS and also to the Acronis Cloud. My upload speed to the cloud is limited to about 10 mbps.
Is it possible to configure a NAS to replicate its backups to the cloud, let us say at night, when the computer is off?

As far as I understand, this is not possible as it would require an Acronis backup application running on your NAS and the only such NAS application is purely to accept mobile backups to the NAS.

The MyCloud is a few years old, and there are newer models of consumer NAS devices.

Just to be clear, is there any NAS that will be able to replicate backups directly to the Acronis Cloud?

Thank you for your response.

Not as far as I understand as stated previously.

You should contact Acronis directly as a pre-sales question and double-check with them but I cannot find any current product that would allow this.

Hello NJ24,

we don't have an app that could be installed directly to a NAS and manage backups to Cloud without having a separate machine to access data stored on NAS for backup and backup processing. Though this is one of the popular requests for our business solutions and such functionality might be implemented as a part of Acronis Cyber Backup product.
