Now-deleted Cloud backup keeps trying to back up at old scheduled time

Thread solved

I have opened a ticket but slow responses these days...

After moving to a new Windows 10 x64 computer and installing TIH 2020 subscription, I imported the backups I had exported, and reconfigured schedules, updating source and location to the new computer.

One backup is an encrypted backup of Documents folder to Acronis Cloud. The backup used to be scheduled for 1:45pm daily, but a while back I switched it to 4:45am. (I think I exported after the time switch, but possibly not.)

The system tray reported that the backup was successful at 4:47am, but I started getting errors "you have entered an incorrect email or password...) at 1:45pm, the old scheduled time. I ultimated deleted the backup completely and recreated a new backup with a diffent name (same folders being backed up). I am still getting tray notifications of the error, for the DELETED file name. No such backup is listed at all in the TIH app window, or the online dashboard. There are NO backups currently scheduled anywhere near 1:45pm.

How do I get rid of this?

In your log file there is an entry as below:

9/8/2020 1:47:36 PM: -07:00 25440 W00010064: Failed to process tag 'script' in script '0514ED23-5277-C7FD-67E2-03A9FFF67262'.

Open the C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts folder and look for a .tib.tis file that uses the same script identifier, i.e. 0514ED23-5277-C7FD-67E2-03A9FFF67262.tib.tis

Remove that file or move it to another folder.

Note: you will need to turn off Acronis Active Protection to make changes to files in the ATI folders.

If you still see an issue after doing the above, then download a copy of the Acronis Scheduler Manager (link in my signature), then run the schedmgr.exe as Administrator to produce a black command prompt window.

Type the command: get list    and look for any entries that have the same script identifier shown.  Each entry has a short numeric identifier, i.e. 1-1, 1-2 etc.

If you see the /script:"0514ED23-5277-C7FD-67E2-03A9FFF67262" in the list of scheduled tasks, note the associated short identifier then type the further commands.

Task 1-23      (to select the task)

Task delete    (to delete the task)

Steve,

Wow! This is like a glimpse into another world! - I love it.

I have completed the steps you recommended. Will let you know if the  issue is resolved - I suspect it will be. Thank you!

Steve,

Yes, of course, that did solve the problem. Thank you!

Acronis official support was not on the right track...

Take care. - Joe
