Online Dashboard does not indicate one of my pcs's status

Thread needs solution

I recently moved a license from an older pc to a new laptop and then installed the 2020 product (last build 38530) and the backup feature works along with the other components of the software on the new pc but for some reason, it is not listed on my online dashboard though my other 4 pcs are listed. The Machine Mini Service is running on the new pc and my Norton software shows that the software is not blocked on the program control panel. Are there any ideas on how to get my newest pc listed on the dashboard like my other 4 pcs are?

Rick, welcome to these public User Forums.

Did you do a clean install of ATI 2020 on your new laptop, as if so, this should have automatically registered it with the Acronis Dashboard?

It is a new pc and I did a clean install using the 2020 install file (latest build version available at the time of install). The new pc is still not seen on my on line dashboard though the other 4 pcs are listed. TY

Rick, are you signed in to your same Acronis Account for this new PC within the ATI 2020 application - it should show your email address at the top right of the Account page in the GUI?

Yes, my new pc shows my email address when I'm using the 2020 TI software. On the new pc, my online account shows 4 devices out of the 5 seat license distribution. BTW...is there a means to be notofied via email when a comment is posted on the TI forum regarding my post(s)? TY!

Rick, if your Acronis Account shows the license usage, i.e. 4 out of 5 used / allocated, then this suggests that you have a Subscription license, as this level of detail is not available for perpetual licenses!

You may need to open a Support case directly with Acronis for this issue for help in finding why just one of your PC's does not show in the Dashboard.

My account page shows this:

Acronis True Image 2020

Perpetual license

while my "products" page shows this:

5 Computer Upgrade
Workstation

And....my on line dashboard shows 4 of my pcs. OK...what do you suggest that I do next? TY!

Rick, try the steps in the forum topic here which may resolve this for you!

The steps noted in the link did not work for me to date. I could always completely remove the 2020 TI version from the newest pc and try installing it again? Maybe it will register the newest pc on the dashboard, or maybe not....TY
