Queues, does not backup

Hello, I  am trying to backup a 1.8GB external HDD to a 6GB external hard drive.

When I start the backup, it goes to " Queued" as shown in the attached screen print.

I have Acronis set to no scheduled backup

What am I  doing wrong?

Jill, the queued status means that Acronis believes that there is another active task on your PC and only one such task is allowed to run at any time.

Download a copy of the standalone Acronis Scheduler Manager tool (link below) - run this and then use the command: task zap in the black command window it shows.

You may still need to do a Windows restart to fully clear the ghost active task before your new task will run but using the above command will clear all scheduled task!
