Restore backup without calendar because its horrible to use

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I am regularly booting from the iso and restore older images and have to scroll through the calendar all the time and pick a specific date and time for the backup although there is only a single backup in the image.

This calendar is really a horrible design-choice and entirely unnecesary. Is there a way to boot the iso and restore an image without going through this very annoying and tedious calendar?

Anita, welcome to these public User Forums.

The simple answer to your question is no!  The recovery / restore operation has to work for all types of recovery and is the same for all, so whether you have a single backup or a chain of multiple images each with lots of incremental backups the same approach is used for all.

The available recovery points are shown in the calendar as bold type dates to make selection easier.  Plus you should already know what month your backup image was created if this is not the current one shown in the calendar view.

I can only suggest that you submit Feedback direct to Acronis about this design and explain your feelings about using it.  You can use the Feedback tool provided in the ATI GUI in Windows.
