Restore Settings ATH2020

Thread solved

I want to restore my Windows 10 Pro 64-bit system disc from ATH2020 Rescue USB drive.

(Because a Windows 11 install left me with more troubleshooting than I have time for this week.)

Do I want to check all four restores:  NTFS, Track 0, EFI System Partition, Recovery Partition ?

Should I recover "Original Security Settings" and "Original Disk Signature"?

Thanks in advance!

(Oh, another reason I want to go back to Win 10 is that I forgot to consider my backup solution.  Should I not continue to use my ATH2020 Rescue USB drive for backups of Win 11?)

Ideally, you should just check the top-most Disk box on the Recovery panel which in turn will automatically select all options below that level.  I normally leave the other 'Original...' settings as default and haven't seen any issues from doing so.

Most versions of ATI will continue to work fine with Windows 11 - I have personally tested running as far back as ATI 2015 on Win 11 and all was well.  Acronis will only support ACPHO for use on Win 11 but then again all versions of ATI are 'Out of Support' anyway and lots of users continue to use them!  I have systems running 2018, 2019, 2021 & ACPHO on Win 11 along with other Win 10 systems with 2015, 2018, 2020 & ACPHO.

Rescue media should ideally be created from the system where you intend to use it in order to have any important device drivers for that system and using the 'Simple' WinRE option. (or created using the MVP Assistant rescue media option from that system).

Thank you very much, Steve!!

I'll select all options (I don't recall there being a checkbox for all, maybe I missed it).
I don't recall what the defaults for the "Original"s were, but I'll just go with that whatever they were.

Thanks for the reminder than I should make a new Rescue media drive on Win11!

You have helped me immensely countless times over the years!
