run missed operation feature not working correctly
I have the "run missed operations on startup with delay" check box UNCHECKED in advanced settings, yet every time I boot my machine it does a backup and because I have a post script (shutdown /s because the shutdown checkbox is also ignored) it shuts the machine down... it's infuriating.
Sometimes it runs these jobs even though a missed job was never even missed. Like I just ran a manual backup and restarted, and as soon as it restarted it took ANOTHER backup and then shutdown... WTH!?
These backups are only supposed to happen each day at 3am (or if I manually start them), and if that windows is missed, so be it. This software is driving me up the wall with frustration.
I am on build 20770

Jo, please review the logs for your backup task as these may show a reason for this behaviour?
Please download the MVP Log Viewer tool (link in my signature below) and use this to review the log file for your backup operation.

Hello Jo,
I suspect this might be a designed behavior - I'll clarify this tomorrow and post an update to this thread.

Jo says the shutdown checkbox is ignored, but it worked for me. Is there an issue with that?
EDIT: Sorry... what worked for me is the checkbox after starting the backup. I have not tried to Advanced option to shutdown.

Corrected my earlier message - checked the setting again and suspect that this checkbox is only for setting the delay, while the missed operation will run anyway.
I will discuss this with the product team tomorrow.

UPD: the RnD will investigate, why the unchecked setting is ignored
