Sabrent Rocket 3.0 m2.1 1Tb cloning issue

Thread needs solution

I created a full backup of my ssd windows drive, created a bootable usb, tested the bootable usb, then active cloned my ssd drive to the sabrent m2.1. My ibuypower pc with a z390 mb would not boot to the mvme. Any ideas?

Luis, welcome to these public User Forums.

What is the BIOS boot mode used by your Windows OS, and what OS do you have here?

Normally, NVMe M.2 SSD drives require that the BIOS boot mode is UEFI / GPT and your OS should be Windows 10 to have native NVMe support in the OS.

You should also remove the original source SSD drive before attempting to boot from the cloned SSD drive, and may also need to change the BIOS device settings to ensure the correct drive is being selected for the 'Windows Boot Manager'.
