secure zone

I have not used secure zone since somewhere about 2007, so I have no direct knowledge. Have you looked at Section 11.6 of the User Guide; you can download a copy via your Acronis Account. There is not anything in the user guide, which suggest recovery is the same as for any other backup. I would suggest opening ATI, then selecting the backup task that is saving to the Acronis secure zone, then clicking on the recovery tab.

It occurred to me that you may need to select Tools, the select Secure Zone to do the recovery.

Keith, like Ian, I stopped using ASZ many years back as found it both inconvenient and limited!  It is just a modified FAT32 partition with the limitations on file size of 4GB plus the user has no control over the file names used within that partition by ATI.  This latter point was the final nail in the coffin of ASZ for me when I couldn't identify a backup I wanted to restore from!

Having said the above, if you have backups in the ASZ that you want to recover from, then there has to be an option in the rescue media or the Windows ATI GUI to allow you to do this provided the secure zone has not been moved or modified in some way.
