Should I create new Bootable Rescue Media after updates?

Thread needs solution

I am running 2020 Build 22510 on Windows 10, and I see Update 3 (Build 25700) is available. After I run the update, will my existing bootable rescue disk still be good or do I need to make a new one?

Thank you.

The existing build 22510 rescue media will work as well as it did before. There is no real need to make a new version although it shouldn't hurt.

In other words, nothing about the new version will invalidate the old. That said, if you were to make a backup using the new version under Windows and had any need to restore it using the rescue media, it would be best to make a new rescue media.

OK, thank you.
