Survival kit versus USB bootable media
I'm new to TI 2020. With previous versions I always ran redundant single-version backups to external and internal storage drives and created bootable media on USB.
Right now I have 4 automatic backups set up on 4 different drives and also created bootable media on a USB flash drive.
Is it really necessary to create a survival kit on each drive where there is a backup? If so, what's the purpose of having the bootable media on USB?

No, not necessary if you are happy using each drive as a storage drive.
I personally have a mix of USB sticks and a couple of survival kit type drives, other drives are just used for backup, not to boot from.

Thanks, Bruno and Steve.
I'd rather not have the four storage drives bootable. Windows can at times do weird things. I'll stick with the USB solution I have always relied on.
