TI says it backed up but it didn't

Thread solved
  1. I get an error that it can't access my backup drive X: but that drive is readily accessible.
  2. It says it backed up this morning but no backup file shows.

Any thoughts?

Bob, just some suggestions at this point.

First, try restarting your computer and see if the issue remains or is cleared?

Next, if the problem persists then try reselecting the backup Destination on your X: drive again.

Thanks, I got it to work by cloning the backup settings and deleting the old one.  It's running now.

What's disturbing, though, is the message that a backup happened last night and if you look at the files in that directory you can see it did not happen.

Bob, glad that you have circumvented the issue with your backup.  Just looking at the .tibx files in Explorer won't always show you the full story though as Acronis consolidates any incremental backups within the first Full backup archive for each version chain, so you would need to double-click on the tibx file to open it then look to see if there is a new incremental backup slice held within it or not?
