Tips for upgrade to ATI 2020

Thread solved

Just got an email from Acronis with a sale price for 2020 upgrade from 2019.
PCs are Windows 10 version 1903.

I believe in the KISS principle. Two PCs do a disk image every night.
I retain a week of backups. Once a week I copy the tib file to off site.

Do you have any suggestions, such as use existing backup schemes or create new ones to get tibx files ?

Code,

So it sounds like you only do full disk images.  If that is correct then you would need to consider the current limitations of the .tibx format before creating new tasks.

If you instead perform file/folder backups those will remain in the .tib format with a new task.

In my case I have switched to the .tibx format for full disk backups.  I do not run these every night however.  Instead, I run backups of user folders on a weekly basis.  I run full disk images both before and after any major Windows version updates.  That fills my needs as I do not generate a huge amount of new data in most cases.

If I have important data that I want to backup then a file level backup is usually appropriate.

I do keep multiple copies of backups for redundancy as a matter of good practice.

Your needs probably vary from mine but I find the benefits of the .tibx format to be a worthwhile upgrade over the .tib format for full disk images.
