True Image 2020 USB media language change

Thread needs solution

I have been given a iso image of bootable media by our IT in Germany, not surprisingly when I try to use it it is in German, its very difficult to go back to them and say I need it in English as it will take forever, if it ever gets done, I can muddle by with Google Translate but I was wondering if there was a way to change the GUI language to English, I looked on the USB bootable media and it has many language files so I would like to think its a possibility?

Roy, welcome to these public User Forums.

There are 3 different versions of Acronis rescue media available:
Simple:  created based on your Windows Recovery Environment for WinPE media.
Advanced: created based on Windows ADK (or AIK for earlier OS versions) - WinPE media.
Advanced: created based on a small Linux distro OS (BusyBox) or created from the .ISO CD image download from your Acronis Account page.

The language used for the rescue media is taken from the system used to create it as far as I am aware and I don't believe there is any option provided to change the display language once the media is created.

See KB 4469: Changing Keyboard Language in Acronis Bootable Media - which deals with keyboard language changes for Linux based rescue media, but again, this is not for display language.

There are also a legal question here if you are attempting to use a copy of Acronis software on a system that has no license for using the same?  If you have ATI 2020 installed on your computer then you could create your own rescue media in the correct display language.

See KB 63226: Acronis True Image 2020: how to create bootable media and KB 59877: Acronis True Image: how to distinguish between UEFI and Legacy BIOS boot modes of Acronis Bootable Media
