True Image 2021 does not list any disks or partitions in the backup source list

Thread needs solution

I just got a K2G5 tower workstation and installed True Image 2021. I tried to create a disk backup of the C drive, but no drives or partitions appear in the disks and partitions source list. I can see drives and folders in the files and folders source list, but I want to do a full disk backup.

My C drive is a Kioxia 1TB SSD XG6 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe KXG60ZNV1T02 Solid State Drive.

I read something a TI not working with dynamic disks, but I don't think mine is, though I don't know how to tell for sure.

By the way, I thought TI 2021 included technical support, but Acronis is not providing me access to it. Not sure what that's about.

Steve, welcome to these public User Forums.

Dealing with the support query first, the only support now available is for Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (ACPHO) which is a subscription only product.  All support for older Acronis True Image (ATI) products ended last year and Acronis no longer provide any perpetual licensed products!

If ATI 2021 does not see your internal drives, then it sounds as if they use a connection interface or device drivers that Acronis cannot recognise correctly.

This carries echos of another topic in the forum - Acronis does not show internal drives as backup source - which may be worth reading through!
