True Image re-install and lost settings

Thread solved

Running True Image 2021 on Windows 10 with 16 gb memory. Was having difficulty with TI getting lost between each instruction or keystroke and not coming back for either a long time, or never. Uninstalled and re-installed TI and it seems to have no recollection that we've worked together before. Is there a way to refresh the software's memory, or do I need to import the latest backups and then reset all the particulars of my backup schedule?

Thanks,

B

Bob, if you have done a full uninstall and reinstall, then ATI has lost of information related to any backup configuration you previously had created, so you will need to either configure your backup tasks again, or else use the option to 'Add existing backup' where you select the most recent backup file from your storage location, but even so, you will need to Reconfigure the backup settings again.

If doing this type of reinstall in future, then go into the ATI GUI > main Settings panel, and then scroll to the bottom and use the option provided there to Export your backup configuration settings to a zip file, which you can use later to Import the same back from the zip file.

Thanks for the response Steve. I was hoping that there were setting files in the previous backup that I could restore directly from the ATI folder(s). I'll add the last backup and redo the settings - it's not that big a deal.

Best,

Bob.
