With ATI 2020, all new Disks & Partitions backup tasks will now use .tibx file format, and all Files & Folders backup tasks will continue to use the older .tib file format.
The new ATI 2020 .tibx files are not compatible with any old versions of ATI such as 2019 and earlier, so you need to create and test the Acronis bootable Rescue Media for ATI 2020 to cover any emergencies where you may need to do a 'bare-metal' disk recovery.
Note: Disk backups created by the ATI 2020 Rescue Media are also using .tibx file format.
