Upgrade to 2020 on replacement PC

Thread needs solution

I have Acronis 2018 on my PC that I am going to retire and scrap. I am building a new machine and have purchased the upgrade package. Is there a specific process I should use to install the new upgrade on my replacement machine which will have no previous installation as it is a new replacement machine. I will have the hard drive from the old machine that I can access for files if needed. So how do I handle this? Thanks,

Al, when you install an upgrade version of ATI, then the installer will look for a qualifying prior version of ATI being installed, if not found, it will ask for two license serial numbers, one for the new version and one from the qualifying version for the upgrade.

See KB 62972: Acronis True Image 2020: How to activate license - for more information.
