USB failures? Consider USB selective suspend setting
Just want to toss this out there. A number of people have reported problems here and there with backups failing to USB devices.
There is a power setting called USB selective suspend setting. If you are having USB issues, it might be worth trying to disable this setting (if it was enabled) to see if that helps.
Go to Control Panel->Power Options->Change plan settings->Change advanced power settings
I once created a power plan called Keep Running than basically does just that... it keeps the system fully running.. Then, it is very easy to just change the active power plan as needed.

Ekaterina,
Unsure if this could be implemented or not. If a list of the most popular/important issues/requests were posted and had the ability of recording vote count by user input that would be a very positive step forward. If it possible that once you cast a vote for an issue/request that item is greyed and no longer available to you then an accurate vote count could be achieved

Ekaterina, I don't think I understand what you are asking here. I'm not making a request.
I was just saying that there is a Windows USB power setting setting that may or may not affect existing USB backup issues.
For those who have experienced USB problems, I was suggesting to change the setting to see if it helped.

I tried something similar shortly after the release of 2020 but unfortunately a bit out of date by now - too many exciting things to do not anywhere near enough time to do them (see here).
The forum I run has the ability to conduct polls; only used it a couple of times. I suppose that it would be possible to occasionally use something like Survey Monkey to do polls if the forum software does not support them. Not sure how it would be implemented - may need a mailing list.
