Validation Workflow Alternative

Thread solved

Acronis True Image Version 2020, Build 22510
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)
Version 1903, OS Build 10.0.18362
ASUS GL552VW

I have a 4TB hard drive.
I make backups using a WinRE rescue media.
The backup images are ~2.7 TB.
I need to know if the images are any good after the backup.
With ATI 2020, "Validate" takes at least four hours for my ~2.7 TB image files.
Therefore, it is impractical to validate each image.
As an alternative to Validate, using Windows File Manager, I drill down into the tib or tibx file to see if it works.

Does anyone have a better suggestion than what I am doing?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Nope. That's what I would do too. I never validate because it is just a checksum verification and won't guarantee recovery, plus takes a long time (the bigger your backup the longer to validate). If you can recover the data with tests like that, you're more than likely good. There are no guarantees though. The more backups you have, and locations to store them, the more chances for successful recovery. One backup is better than none, but a good plan should have at least two backups, to different types of media (different locations).

Ich würde das Backup im .tib Format unter Windows + Validieren machen:

I would make the backup in .tib format under Windows + Validate:
