Was my backup successful?
Hello, at the conclusion of a backup I get a red cross in the centre of the screen, as shown in the attached image. And I do not know if the backup was successful. I cannot find anything with today's date in the backup stored location.
I was unable to produce a system report using Help > Generate System report, or using Ctrl F7 , but downloaded and installed System Info_build 25851, and ran that. the result is attached.
Can anyone please tell me:
Q1. Why I could not generate the system Report using help or Ctrl-F7?
Q2. Has the C drive backed up successfully?

Jill, due to a bug in the Forum software you attachments did not come through to you post; this only happens when creating a new topic. You can either edit your initial post or do a new post. Without this (understandably) we cannot offer anything useful.

Thank you. the two screen shots are attached. The System infor file is too big to post (21MB)
Q3. Can you please tell me where to locate my system Infor Report on Win 10?

Jill, just based on the 2 screen images, then your backup operation is not being successful, if you click on the red X it should tell you this.
If you are not able to create an Acronis System Report using the tool provided with ATI 2020, then this suggests that there may be problems with the installation of ATI on your PC, so the best advice at this point is to try doing a Repair Install to see if this clears the issue for you.
See KB 60915: Acronis True Image: repairing program settings - which has a number of repair options including how to do the Repair Install. It is best to download a new copy of the ATI 2020 installer program from your Acronis Account download page to use for this action.
By default, when a system report is created, it gets stored in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome folder as SystemReport.zip (alongside the SystemReport.exe application that creates the report).

Jill,
Looking at your screenshot with the last sic number 288828 I see that the backups in your list all show as using the same disk however, the letter assignment for that disk has changed from K: to H:. That is probably at root of your issue. Windows assigns drive letters in random sequence and removable disks can have these letters changed at any time. If you assign a letter to your removable disk that is at the far end of available letters like W: for example, this can help in keeping the letter assignment from changing but is not a guarantee that it will not happen at the whim of Windows itself.
