Will .tibx ever be mountable?

Thread needs solution

Mounting .tib files has been very important to me (when I want to check prior versions of things,I don't want to have to keep around a spare HDD to download them to), and if it is not going to be possible for .tibx, that would be a serious and possibly fatal show-stopper for me for ATI 2020 (since the hack for getting to to make .tibs will probably not work forever). The limitation on incremental cleanup are also pretty bad; removing only the last incremental or all of them would however be OK. But that is supposed to be 'architectural', so seems unlikely to change.

I do not fully understand your question.  The tibx format can be opened in File Explorer and you have the ability to explore prior restore points.  Each subsequent file held in a tibx container is a restore point.  You should be able to check previous versions of files this way.

My understanding is that it is planned to make *.tibx mountable. My understanding is that they can be in Backup 12.5; so it may just be a delay caused by the need to recompile the code as 32 bit rather than 64 bit.
