Windows 10 won't boot on surface laptop.

Thread needs solution

I have restored entire hard disk and partitions from the survival kit. Now I am unable to boot to windows after I remove the UsB drive. I have changed the boot sequence to boot from windows, but no luck so far. It will only boot the acronis true image from the USB.

Noobie, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry but more information is needed here?

When you booted the Acronis Survival Kit drive, did you use UEFI boot mode?

If you look at the partitions in your Disks & Partitions backup image, do you see an EFI System Partition shown?

The most likely reason for a problem is that the restore was done with the rescue media booted incorrectly (not using UEFI mode on a system that requires this).
