worked for 6 months now backups keep stopping

Michael, welcome to these public User Forums.

Your logs are showing a Microsoft VSS error when trying to commit the backup data to be written out to disk.

Please download the Acronis VSS Doctor tool and run this on your PC, then if any errors are indicated, let the tool fix those errors for you if it offers to do so.

Thanks for getting back to me. when I run the tool to fix NTFS volume access I get this error.

Michael, take a read through forum topic: The shadow copy provider had an error / related to Boxcryptor drive? where similar errors were reported.  In particular, try rebooting Windows initially then retry the VSS Doctor tool to see if you get the same error.  Check if you have any encrypted partitions?
