Acronis 2021 can not recognize windows 10 Pro Harddrive when doing image backup using bootable disc

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I am needing help please, I am trying to create an image backup of our HMI Computer. It is Windows 10 Pro. I got the 2021 True Image, and I am using the bootable disc. When I am in the process of doing a backup, the Harddrive is not recognize, and there is no media showing. I tried using the older version of True Image from 2008 to 2021, but no luck, still the harddrive is not recognized.

Please let me know what you think I am missing,

Thank you very much,

Ismael, what type of disk drive is installed in your HMI Computer, how is it connected, and what format is the drive using?

Next, how did you create the bootable disc (Acronis Rescue Media) you are using?

For the ATI 2018 & later version rescue media, there are 3 different versions available:
Simple:  created based on your Windows Recovery Environment for WinPE media.
Advanced: created based on Windows ADK (or AIK for earlier OS versions) - WinPE media.
Advanced: created based on a small Linux distro OS (BusyBox) or created from the .ISO CD image download from your Acronis Account page.

I would recommend creating the 'Simple' version of rescue media which will pick up any required device drivers for your disk drive from the Windows Recovery Environment.
