Acronis 2021 Synchronization has failed

Thread needs solution

I have Acronis True Image 2021 Build 35860, and several of my syncs fail. In the Acronis True Image 2021 application, if I click on the red "X", all I get is "Synchronization has failed".

I have tried pausing and resuming the syncs. In that case, it stays green for a short time, but then fails in the same way again.

I have downloaded the MVP Log Viewer 2.10, and when I select the SyncAgent logs, it actually first has an error:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** Exception Text **************
Microsoft.VisualBasic.FileIO.MalformedLineException: Line 4 cannot be parsed using the current Delimiters.
   at Microsoft.VisualBasic.FileIO.TextFieldParser.ParseDelimitedLine()
...

Not sure if it's related to my problem. Full error is at the end.

If I click continue, I get to log entries that look like these:

The error code is even less understandable than "Synchronization has failed".

What do you suggest I should do?

Thanks,

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I can't even remove the old sync tasks. If I click on the down arrow next to a sync task, and select "Delete", after a while, I get "There is a connection problem or an error on the server. Check your internet connection or try again later."

My internet connection seems fine otherwise.

Hello Mathias ,

thank you for your posting! I'd start with the steps from 47168: Acronis True Image: Troubleshooting Sync and if the issue persists, contact Acronis support team for investigation.
