Can't delete .tibx files from failed backups
I've had a major problem running TI 2020 over recent days. Many failed backups have left small .tibx files which I'd like to delete. To solve my problem I was upgraded to TI 2021, but I can't find a way to get rid of these useless files. I tried adding one to my backups list, but that didn't work. I've deleting the files running power shell and windows explorer as administrator, and those attempts failed. I've searched the forum but haven't found specific information so far on how to solve this problem. Can someone help?

I too have this issue of tibx files which i am unable to delete. In my case it is not small files of 12Kb or so but a total of some 130Gb across 3 separate files created due to inadvertant failed back-ups when the back-up medium was not connected to my PC. I have created a new backup using a different name so I can't see how any data pertaining to the new backup can be retained in the old files so i would still like to know how i can delete them!
I have tried changing ownership but this still does not work as i understand deletion is still blocked by Acronis. Grateful if anyone can help.

Martin, if you have Acronis Active Protection active / enabled then this is designed to prevent any backup files being deleted! You need to temporarily stop AAP to allow files to be deleted manually if they are not shown in the Clean up versions tool.
