Can't remove old computer from cloud portal
Hi all. Had a bit of a frustrating evening last night with trying to replace one computer with another. The decision was made to do a fresh install of everything on a new computer, and then just to set Acronis up for that new computer, removing it from the old computer, and purging anything to do with the old computer from the Acronis cloud portal(s). I learned the cloud stuff is very slow, and without any reliable status indicators, you never know what's actually happening. I got though most of it, partially because I left it overnight to see where it stood today.
So, the 250 GB cloud storage "Clean Up" is done. The 1 workstation license has been activated to the new computer now. However, though the computer is clearly online, and clearly connected to the Acronis portal in the cloud, it says "Offline" under All Devices. And the computer that no longer has Acronis and is in fact powered off, still shows online and is the only backup job I can actually work with.
So does anyone know what it takes to just get rid of an old computer from the portal? It's clearly not a robust system, you'd think deactivating the workstation in question plus purging the cloud storage for it would result in the backup job going away. :(
As to backup jobs, there are two: one for the old ocmputer, one for the new. The new says the machine is offline, but, I can delete that backup job (right-click the gear icon), however I cannot Delete the first one that's tied to the non-existent computer.
Sorry to ramble, just kind of lost for options.
