Can't select option to browse for backup destination
Hi, new ATI user here. I'm trying to use ATI (trial version 2021, Build 38450, Windows 10) to create a system backup before installing a new SSD in my laptop.
I can see my whole file structure on the "select source" side. But when I go to "select destination" I can select "Your external drive" and "NAS" but I can't select "Browse." Nothing happens when I click browse and it appears to be greyed out.
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall ATI, repair the installation in administrator mode (as recommended by other forum posts), and rebooting in safe mode but no change. Certainly could be user error but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Has anyone else encountered this / can anyone offer any advice?
Separately, once I install the new SSD, if something goes wrong with the cloning would I be able to restore the drive using an image created with a process other than ATI (like the Windows system image process)?

Steve thanks for your help. I'm a little confused about the build issue - I'm attaching a screenshot of the "About" page in the product that lists 38450 as the build, states the product is up to date, and doesn't give me an option to download a more up to date build.
I'll try to uninstall and manually download the latest build from https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/updates/
As I'm writing this I'm noticing the about page references "Arconis True Image for Western Digital." I downloaded the version from WD (since it's a WD drive). Is that the issue here - does the WD version not support backups?
Either way, I'll see how the manual download and reinstall works. Thanks for your help.

This is an OEM version of ATI, not trial version: see 2201: Support for OEM Versions of Acronis Products which indicates that the OEM is responsible for support. However, memebers of the user forum can provide (limited) help - the limitation is due to uncertainties about the version of ATI on which it is based, and the restrictions that are imposed on the use of the OEM version. For example, only being able to clone to particular brand of drives.
Please explain what you are trying to do. Is it a disk/partitions backup or a files and folders backup; what disk are you attempting to back up and where do you want to back it up to.

The issue here is the limitations imposed by using OEM versions of ATI which expect to find a drive by the same vendor in order to allow some operations, so with this scenario, it looks likely that it only allows selection of directly connected destinations for backup tasks.
The full version of ATI does not have such limitations and the build numbers I quoted were for the full version, not for OEM versions such as that from WD.
